Yummy 09/15/2007
Whenever I'm in town I go to Sab's, I actually crave it, so I have to think of reasons to go into to the city. I eat a lot and they really have those big portions that satisfy my cravings. Nice friendly atmosphere as well.
best if taken out 07/12/2007
the atmosphere is lacking. The waitresses are sometimes indifferent but the bookmaker salad and baked ravioli are great.
SAVE YOUR MONEY, 06/13/2007
My husband surprised me for our anniversary by taking me to the #1 italian restaurant in Baltimore. The wait staff is sloppy at best. While your waiting you get to look at the holes in the walls and the mismatched silverware. When they actually do bring your food, it looks like it was dropped then scooped back on your plate. The dressing that was supposed to be "the best" tasted like chalk. We couldn't even gag it down. My ravioli was hard, when we complained, we were told they were busy. We actually ate at Germano's across the street and it was fantastic. Walk 20 steps, and enjoy good service and a meal you can actually eat!!!!
good food 05/04/2007

Doesn't Qualify for #1 05/03/2007
I don't know who votes for this place as a first class restaurant, let alone the best Italtian Restaurant in Baltimore. It has no ambiance. It feels like you are sitting in a cafeteria the way the tables are so close together .The food isn't good especially for the prices. Try Boccacio's if you want great italian food, good service and a great bartender. Pricey but well worth it.
Olive Garden Would Be a Better 04/12/2007
Only thing worse than the food is the service

Not the Best Italian 04/03/2007
I am only 16 years old, and I know that Sabatino's is NOT the best Italian in Baltimore. My family is from Italy and I eat Italian 4-5 times a week. I have been to Sabatino's multiple times, and every time I have ended up changing my order because the original dish I ordered, was cooked poorly or it was just plain bad. There are so many other, better, places to have Italian in Little Italy.
A Holiday Pleasure 02/22/2007
A highlight of our Christmas 2006 was an evening family dinner at Sabatino's. What a pleasure for all. The service was very good, our table was overlooking the decorated and lighted streets of Little Italy, the wine was good, the salads were great, and everyone enjoyed their dinners. It was exactly what we were hoping for -- a casual, warm and friendly atmosphere, good service, great food and a beautiful holiday experience!
The reviews were right! 02/17/2007
Well, I had preassumption that this place was a tourist trap, but figured my Wife and I would find out for ourselves. It's true!!! Nothing about this place will motivate us to return. Everything from the food, service, wine selection, atmosphere was extremely subpar. For instance, I ordered a veal entree which mentioned nothing about gravy. The actual dish reminded me something from Denny's like Country Fried Steak!!! I would recommend Boccaccio's where everything was as expected.
