Baseball fans can step up to the plate in grand style at the Sandcastle, the state-of-the-art ballpark that's homebase for the Atlantic City Surf Pro ball team. The stadium features a dazzling, 28-foot high scoreboard, virtual reality homerun games on the concourse, a gameroom with more than a dozen video games, banquet facilities and other cool amenities. In addition to the team season, which runs from May to September, there also are loads of special events throughout the year, including Easter egg hunts, a haunted castle at Halloween, a festival of lights during the Christmas holidays, tours, Surf Education Academy and accommodations for parties and special events.
