Some of the best barbecue you'll ever eat can often be found in small, nondescript locales, or even under a makeshift tent in a parking lot or on the side of the road. But, there are some places, like Rolling Bones, that actually provide a clean, inviting atmosphere in which to enjoy your 'cue. Housed in a converted 1940s gas station, Rolling Bones serves Texas-style barbecue. Unlike the Deep South style of 'cue, which goes heavy on the sauces, Texas-style barbecue is slow cooked over mesquite, without spices or sauces. These are only added afterwards if you prefer, and you just may, since Rolling Bones is also known for its tasty sauce. Chicken, pork and beef are available in a variety of forms, as well as all the favorite sides, such as fries, potato salad, cole slaw and beans. Rolling Bones also does catering in case you want to set up your own tent off the side of the road.

Great BBQ
By to2glo on 02/28/2008
This is got to be the best BBQ, I have ever tasted!! I had seen it on a show on TV, over the weekend, about good BBQ places in & around Atlanta. We live about 50 mi above Atl. & I had a Dr's appt in Atlanta today, so my husband & I decided to give it a try. Didn't go wrong!! The meat was so tender{I had the brisket plate, my husband had the 1/4 chicken plate}, great flavor! It's was very good , even without any sauce on it,{ we got sauce on the side} but the sauce was great, too!! Also the coleslaw, with lots of carrots & raisins. Only thing I saw that maybe needed improvement was, adding another side to the plates , maybe french fries or onion rings { they come with a slice of texas toast & 1 side]
