Now Hump Day has an even nicer ring to it. Shoot, with events like Centennial Park's Wednesday Wind Down, the weekend can almost take its sweet little time getting here. Yeah, almost. While there's still nothing comparable to sleeping in on Saturdays, the relaxingly soft sounds of nationally recognized jazz musicians such as Najee or the Caribbean-influenced tones of an Island ensemble sure come close.

And though a kick-your-feet-up Sunday in front of the TV is sure tough to beat, the Wind Down's hard-to-match format of smooth vibes, fresh air and free admission is the working person's midweek dream.
