The Atlanta Pride Festival has grown from a small rally of 100+ members of the Gay Liberation Front and Gay Activist Alliance into a major festival for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people that annually attracts more than 300,000 to Piedmont Park. There will be two entertainment stages featuring performances throughout the weekend, as well and a swimsuit fashion show, DJs, a literary showcase and a Starlight Cabaret featuring some of the city's most talented drag performers. Don't miss the grand finale -- the Pride Parade at 1 PM on Sunday.
