Built in the early 1960s by a German log builder (who was previously a peanut farmer -- hence the name), The Peanut Farm hosts annual events, including Ice Bowling (which is part of Alaska's famous Fur Rendezvous), as well as some live music gigs. Up until recently, most of their energy was spent on just being a great sports bar -- and that they are. They have a jumbo 10- foot screen, in addition to 24 smaller TVs and full satellite TV. They pride themselves on helping patrons find just the game they want to watch, and they're known for their chicken wings and burgers.

Wings...ugh
This place is great for wings.....if you like your wings direct from the freezer, straight into the microwave and onto your plate. No thanks...horrible!
Great for football
Great place to watch your team play. Service has gone down a bit since the expansion but still a cool place with a great location.
Best in Town
The very best family restarant, bar in town. for sports? no one in Anchorage can top the PEANUT FARM.
