An icon in Alaska since 1975, Mr. Whitekey (owner, operator and yes, keyboardist) mixes carefully orchestrated Alaskan lore (with a slide show like you have never experienced before) with political satire and off-color humor, all presented by musicians and actors on stage. For dinner enjoy the Blackened Albacore Tuna Salad ($8.95), Alaskan Sampler plate ($7.95, reindeer sausage, halibut chips) or a burger. Save some room, though—an outstanding dessert tray is offered at intermission. A full bar is available.

Its been gone since 9/2006
They did a great comedy show about Alaska but unfortunately closed 9/2006! Think its a sportsbar now.

What Did You Expect?
It ain't Vegas, it's Alaska...Spenard no less. It was a hoot. Too bad it's gone. The Birdhouse burned down back in '96, FBNClub is closed, get out ther and take in the Salty Dawg Saloon in Homer and Skinny Dick's Halfway Inn on thr Parks Hgwy before they disappear too!
