This country Colonial restaurant is furnished with antiques and Victorian memorabilia -- but the food is good old-fashioned American comfort. There's nothing new about roast turkey and chicken, but have you ever had it over waffles? That special has been on the menu since 1978, when owners Sam and Susan Wagner Slick's parents first opened the restaurant. Accompanied by bread stuffing and gravy and followed up with Bumbleberry Pie (filled with an assortment of berries), it's a delicious homage to the classic American Sunday meal. If that sounds too heavy, there's a salad bar, soups and a selection of steak and seafood entrees. Named after their mother, the Victorian-style Elizabeth Room can accommodate large banquets and parties. Slick's Ivy Stone is a seasonally operated establishment, so don't look them up between January and April.
