Step inside to the great outdoors at Morris' Tavern on Lake Street in Sidman. Part tavern/restaurant, part stuffed-animal museum, Morris' is one unique dining experience. Different days of the week find a different menu of specials. Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays are seafood nights, featuring steamed shrimp, snow crab legs and fish dinners, served baked or breaded with your choice of sides like baked potato and coleslaw. If barbecue is more to your liking, come Thursday nights for the Louisville baby-back ribs. Their popular pizza is offered every night, but on Wednesdays you can get a large pie at $2 off the regular price. Also featured every day is the glassed-in display of four stuffed deer right in the dining room. Critters of all sorts reside upstairs in the museum, including alligators, antelopes and even a buffalo.
