Want to go to a place where everybody knows your name? You dont have to live in Boston (or an L.A. soundstage, for that matter). Just head to Murphys Tavern, an Irish bar and restaurant for the whole family. Patrons ranging from teenagers to senior citizens come to sample its hamburgers, award-winning chicken wings and relaxed, friendly atmosphere. And since the dining room is separate from the bar, you can bring the kids. In the bar area, you can enjoy a game of pool and a cold, creamy stout amid Irish flags, photos of immigrants and other Irish-American memorabilia. -- Sara Tripp

Best Wings in Town
We have been going to Murphy's for over 20 years. The people are great, the waitresses are top notch, and the wings are the biggest I've ever seen. We now have to drive 50 minutes to get there but it is well worth it.
