For twenty- and thirty-somethings, Linos Restaurant and Trattoria is a full-service establishment. The restaurant and bar are split on two different levels, so you can start your evening with a civilized Italian feast served in a formal dining room on the upper level. After sipping on red wine and whispering sweet nothings into your dates ear, head downstairs for drinks and dancing. The lower level doubles as a more informal restaurant that converts into a full-blown club scene on most nights. But unlike some other neighborhood clubs, "theres no riff-raff and fights and [stuff] like that," according to Jerry Berteotti, who owns Linos with his pop. The downstairs bar features a happy hour with drink specials every night of the week. But the biggest draws are Wednesdays karaoke night and weekend nights when local bands take the stage. -- Brody Mullins
