The curiosity about this place never seems to dim. As much as people complain about how crowded and expensive it is, they still come en masse. Could it be the personable and attractive staff? Or the throngs of men and women who come here looking for a good time? Whatever the occasion, this place is packed with packs of people looking for fun. The recent addition to this once-narrow bar has given way for an even bigger crowd and more live music Thursday-Sunday. Come dance on the shuffleboard, or in the streets. The block that McGeary's sits on is usually shut down for a nice outdoor addition to this ongoing party. The downfalls? Parking, for one. There's a parking lot adjacent to the building, but it is off limits to McGeary's customers so plan on walking. McGeary's also closes a little earlier than its after-hours neighbors so be sure to make this an early stop. -- Melissa Eagen
